Blog preserves owner-entered post links when a post is published. As admins type, post and category links preview the address that will be saved, including the final numbered version when a title or name is already in use. Title-generated links also handle apostrophes more cleanly across public pages, sharing metadata, feeds, and sitemaps.
Duplicate and overlong links are caught with guidance that returns to the public-link field, including when SEO and sharing settings are collapsed. If a published post or category URL changes, the old shared address redirects to the current one instead of breaking.
